Redesign employee engagement in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The Hourglass, a customisable design piece, was built for South African Organisations which needed an innovative way to encourage and track employee volunteerism in a manner that stands out from the digital clutter. By incorporating art and technology, the hourglass promotes engagement through improving communications around awareness initiatives and commemorative days. The hourglass is used to measure the volunteering activity in organisations and progress towards Employee Volunteerism Program targets.
Every time an employee completes their volunteering hours they can activate the hourglass to record their time spent. Any sand remaining in the hourglass is a reminder that it is always a good time to volunteer. The hourglass ensures that everyone remains aware of the various initiatives that the organisation supports and therefore strengthens the culture of volunteerism within the organisation. Analysis and reporting of engagement is delivered through the Hourglass Platform.
Through implementing our solution, The Hourglass Project, corporates will witness an increase in employee engagement in their Volunteerism Programs which results in:
Increased employer value proposition for the employees.
Increased employee engagement, retention and productivity
Increased brand value.
